Sign Up for a Free Desmos Account

To get started, click Sign Up from www.desmos.com or any of the graphing tools. You can create a free Desmos account using an external account (Google or Apple) or an email address. By signing up, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Using Google or Apple

Based on your selection, a separate window will open for you to enter your Google or Apple login credentials. Once you’ve entered your credentials, you will be able to answer an optional question about your account. When you are done, click Sign Up.

Using an Email Address

Enter the email address you’d like to use and then click Next. Then, enter your first name and last name (optional) and create a password. You will also be able to answer an optional question about your account. When you are done, click Sign Up.

To change your account information, go to www.desmos.com or any tool and click your name and then Account Settings.

To change your name, enter a different First Name or Nickname and Last Name (optional).

To change your email address, select Change Email Address. This will send an email to the address currently associated with your account. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the process.

If you try to change your email address but receive an error message that reads “Sorry! Something went wrong. Please try again later,” you may already have an account using that email address. Please reach out to support@desmos.com for help migrating your account activity to the email address you want to use.
