How do I set up a free account for Desmos Calculator Tools?

To get started, click Sign Up in the top right corner of www.desmos.com or in any of the tools. You can create a free Desmos account using an external account (Google or Apple) or an email address. By signing up, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Using Google or Apple

Based on your selection, a separate window will open for you to enter your Google or Apple login credentials. Once you’ve entered your credentials, you will be brought to a screen to answer some optional questions about your account.

Using an Email Address

Enter the email address you’d like to use and then you will be brought to a screen to provide your name, choose a password, and answer some optional questions about your account

To change your email address, click on your name in the top right and select Account Settings.

On the Profile Information tab, select Change email address. A Change Email Link will be sent to the email address currently associated with your account, from which you will complete the process.

If you get an error message that reads ‘Sorry! Something went wrong. Please try again later.’ You may already have an account using that email address. Please reach out to support@desmos.com for help migrating your account activity to the email address you want to use.
