Sign Up for and Manage Your Account

To get started, click Sign Up from www.desmos.com or any of the math tools. You can create a free Desmos account using an external account (Google or Apple) or an email address. By signing up, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

If you continue with Google or Apple, a separate window will open for you to enter your Google or Apple login credentials. Then, click Sign Up.

If you continue with email, enter the email address you’d like to use and then click Next. Then, enter your first name and last name (optional) and create a password. Finally, click Sign Up.

To change your name, click Profile Information and then enter a different first or last name. Then, click Save.

To change your email address, you must have access to your current account email, and you must not already have an account with the new email address.

Select Change Email Address to send an email to the address currently associated with your account. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the process.

If you’re unable to change the email address yourself or run into an error message that reads “Sorry! Something went wrong. Please try again later,” please reach out to us at support@desmos.com.

Go to www.desmos.com or any tool and click Account Settings.

Then, click Security and Send Email. You will receive an email at the address associated with your account. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

Click Log In from www.desmos.com or any tool. Then, enter the email address you use for your account and click Next.

Instead of typing your password, click Forgot Password?.

Click Recover Password. You will then receive an email with a password recovery link. Follow the instructions to choose a new password for your account.

If you’ve only ever signed in with Google or Apple but would like to set a password for your Desmos account, enter the email address associated with your account and then click Next.

You’ll then be prompted with a window that reads “You’ve previously signed in with Google/Apple. Click the button below to sign in.” Click Set a Password Instead and then Recover Password to receive an email with a password recovery link. Follow the instructions to choose a new password for your account.

After you set a password, you’ll still be able to sign in with Google or Apple.

To log out everywhere you’re signed in, including the device you’re currently on, go to www.desmos.com or any tool and click Account Settings. Then, click Security and Log Out of All Devices.
