Along with expressions and functions, you can add a note, table, inference test, folder, image, or ticker to your graph. To start, click Add Item and then choose the type of item you'd like to add to your graph. Or, type Table, Inference, Note, Folder, or Ticker directly into an expression line.
Note: The ticker is an advanced setting. To enable it, click your name to open Account Options and then click Account Settings. Finally, check Actions.
Add an Image
Add images to your graph to use as a template, text label, or design element.
Many browsers also support clicking and dragging an image into the expression list.
Adding an image is not available in the 3D Graphing Calculator.
To move the image, click and drag the center point. To resize the image, click and drag any one of the outer points surrounding the image. Drag outwards to make the image larger and inwards to make it smaller.
Or, you can manually change the coordinate of the center point in the expression list to move the image so that its center is at that new coordinate point. You can resize the image by adjusting the width and height, and you can also adjust the angle or opacity of the image.
Click and hold Image to adjust the opacity, change whether the image is in front of or behind your graphs, and make the image draggable or clickable.
If you make an image draggable or clickable, you’ll be given the option to provide a screen reader label to describe the image.
Use Folders
Use folders to organize your expression list. To add an expression line to a folder, press Return. You can also drag an expression line into the folder.
Duplicate Any Expression
To duplicate any expression, click Edit List and then Duplicate
for the intended expression.
Duplicating a folder duplicates all of its contents.
Press Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C (Mac) to copy an expression. To copy an entire expression, click into its expression line. To copy parts of an expression, highlight only those parts.
Press Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac) to paste an expression.
Geometry Toolbar
In the Geometry Tool, you can use the toolbar to construct points, various types of lines, circles, angles, and polygons. You can also select items to edit or transform them.
To work with a geometry object in the expression list, drag its token from the navigator at the top.
