Manage Your Team

After you’ve set up your Desmos Professional team, you can adjust your workspace settings, set teammate roles and permissions, and keep track of your invitations. For more information about Professional features:

 

Desmos Professional is a paid plan. Educators can request a free team to use with colleagues. To learn more and sign up, visit our Desmos Professional page.

 

Roles and Permissions

Any teammate can be an owner or a member of a workspace. Each role has the following permissions:

Navigate the Team Dashboard

From the team dashboard, owners can view each teammate’s role or invite status, invite or remove teammates, change settings, and manage the team’s subscription.

To access the dashboard, make sure you’re logged in to the account associated with your team. Then:

  1. Open the Account menu Account menu icon
  2. Select Manage Workspaces
  3. Click Manage Team

If you’ve joined multiple teams, all their workspaces will appear on this page, along with your Personal workspace.

Only team owners will have the option to select Manage Team. Owners can also reach their team’s dashboard at desmos.com/my-workspaces.

Team Settings

Select Workplace Settings Account menu icon to change your team’s name, logo, workspace color, and default link access. Click Save to apply all changes.

Change Roles

To change a teammate’s role, find their name and then click More Options More Otions icon . Toggle between Owner or Member to update their role.

Resend Invites

If a teammate has not yet accepted their invite, you can click More Options for additional options:

  1. Resend an email invite by clicking Resend Invite.
  2. Copy the unique invite link by clicking Copy and send it to the teammate directly.

Remove Teammates

From More Options, you can click Remove From Team and then Yes, Remove to remove a teammate from your team.

The teammate will be archived immediately and will no longer be able to access anything in the team workspace.

You and other teammates will still be able to access the archived teammate’s files in your workspace.

You can also migrate an archived teammate’s files to an active teammate’s account. Toggle to Archived to find the archived teammate. Then, click More Options and enter the active teammate’s name.

Billing Details

The dashboard shows a snapshot of your subscription, including the estimated next payment along with the number of active seats and invited teammates.

If you’d like to change or cancel your subscription, click Manage Subscription.
